Fort Myers Casino Night at VFW Post 10097
It was a wonderful Casino Night and a great commitment!
We are pleased to help our clients achieve an event that offers fond memories, and even more so on a special occasion where we can help our veterans.
I remember that it was one night in which we communicated with a representative of VFW POST 10097, after some coordination, the day and time of the event were resolved.
A Brief History of the VFW
The VFW has its roots in 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to ensure the rights and benefits of their service: many came home injured or sick. There was no medical care or veterans’ pension for them, and they were left to care for themselves.
In their misery, some of these veterans joined and formed organizations with what would become known as the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. After chapters were formed in Ohio, Colorado, and Pennsylvania, the movement quickly gained momentum. By 1915, the membership increased to 5,000; in 1936, the membership was nearly 200,000.
Since then, VFW’s voice has played a role in establishing the Veterans Administration, enacting the GI bill for the 20th century, developing the national cemetery system, and the fight for compensation for Vietnam vets exposed to Agent Orange and for veterans diagnosed with Gulf War Syndrome. In 2008, VFW won a long-fought victory with the passing of a GI Bill for the 21st Century, giving expanded educational benefits to America’s active-duty service members, and members of the Guard and Reserves, fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
VFW is also committed to improving Veterans Medical Center services for veterans.
In addition to helping fund the establishment of Vietnam, the Korean War, World War II, and the women’s soldier memorial, VFW became the first veteran’s organization to contribute to the construction of a new disabled veterans memorial in 2005, which opened in November 2010.
Annually, the nearly 2 million members of the VFW and their auxiliaries contribute more than 8.6 million hours of volunteering in the community, including participation in Make a Difference Day and National Volunteer Week.
From providing more than $3 million in college scholarships and savings bonds to students each year to encouraging the elevation of the Department of Veterans Affairs to the president’s cabinet, the VFW is there.
A great casino night

Casino Night Fundraiser is an event that allows guests to experience the fun and excitement of playing in a real casino, but instead of going to Las Vegas, Las Vegas comes to them!
Casino fundraising events regularly provide gaming tables, very similar to the gaming tables you find in real casinos and professional croupiers who run games.
The main difference between playing games in casino fundraising events and “real events” is that no real gambling takes place in these events. These games are played with “fun money” or chips with no cash value and are for entertainment only.
We focus on Casino fun! We provide a variety of games and themed parties to meet your event needs: blackjack, roulette, Texas hold ’em (poker), craps (dice), slot machines, decorations, DJs, and bartenders division. You will be surprised when your venue turns into a casino.
